our Christian calling to share of our Time, Talent and Treasure and support
the ministries of Saint Barbara.

This committee oversees the financial operations of the parish. It is
also responsible for creating the annual budget that is presented to
the Parish Council and then to the General Assembly for its final approval.

the ecclesiastical traditions of the Orthodox Faith.
SPIRITUAL LIFE COMMITTEE
This committee provides the community with the information and materials
necessary for developing a deeper awareness of our Orthodox faith
on both the practical and theological levels.
GOLF TOURNAMENT
The annual Saint Barbara Golf Tournament occurs once a year with all proceeds
going to the Building Fund of our church.
ODYSSEY
This is the name of our Greek Festival that is held on Labor Day Weekend. Volunteers
are always needed in every area of the festival. The Festival Chairperson, appointed
by the Parish Council and assisted by area coordinators, stages an attractive
four-day event on the Church grounds. The necessary labor is provided voluntarily
by members of the Saint Barbara Community.
DUCK POND DAY CARE CENTER
Our community has leased out the first floor of former Holy Infant House to
Duck Pond Day Care that has programs available for children for six weeks of
age to five years. Duck Pond Day Care was established in Milford in 1993 to
fill an apparent need for quality child care and has continued to maintain a
reputation in the industry as having centers whose philosophy is family centered
and educationally based. The curriculum includes activities that help develop
social skills, independence, self-esteem, language and school readiness. Computers
are also used to help preschoolers. Parishioners of Saint Barbara who enroll
their children are entitled to a 15% discount.
